KISTINOX FORTE is a food supplement based on Cranberry 80% titled in proanthocyanidins (PACs), equal to 72 mg of PACs per tablet, which promotes the correct functionality of the urinary tract and can also be associated with antibiotic therapy in the treatment of acute episode.
The antibacterial efficacy of this herbal remedy derives from the ability to make the bladder mucosa surface anti-adhesive, thus preventing the cell adhesion of pathogenic bacteria responsible for cystitis and other disorders. This function seems to be attributed, in particular, to the proanthocyanidins contained in the cranberry, the true ones responsible for inhibiting the adhesion of E. coli on the epithelial cells of the bladder.
Noxamicina®P is a compound based on bioflavonoids, selected extracted from propolis, with synergistic activity, obtained with a patented extraction method that makes the molecules free from impurities, highly bioavailable.
D-Mannose is a simple sugar extracted from larch and birch wood, which is poorly metabolized in the liver and / or other organs, reaches the kidney and is expelled through the urinary tract where it reaches high concentrations.

The female genital apparatus, the urinary tract and the perineal support tissues share a common embryological origin, the differentiation of which depends on the action of estrogens. In adult women, the progressive decline of ovarian function, with the rupture deprivation of estrogen, reduces tissue trophism causing urogenital atrophy, which makes these organs much more susceptible to trauma and urinary infections. The factors associated with the consequences are for their chronicity and for the high frequency of onset and for the fact that a significant number of episodes of cystitis per year have important repercussions on the quality of life of women. In order to understand whether the use of Kistinox® Forte, containing blueberry, Noxamicina® and D-mannose, can be useful in the treatment of cystitis, a multicentre clinical study was conducted on 150 women aged 40 to 50 with recurrent episodes of cystitis:

This multi-center clinical study revealed the efficacy and tolerability of Kistinox® sachets in the treatment and prevention of urinary disorders in peri- and postmenopausal women. The position of one sachet per day during the first 10 days of the month for 3 months was tolerated by the product.
